BREAKFAST LIKE A KING! so i did…
LOY KEE along balestier is one of my favourite place to start my day. look at the shine on the roasted skin!! leterally brighten my day already! Good breakfast is always a good start. can you imagine NO breakfast?? i’ll prob crawl to work heh heh heh….hope my mr-botak-band-major ain’t readin this blog, he prob will never wanna meet this dinosaur *faint* hee hee…
i simply love having breakfast!! my MIL always ask in the morning, "you want breakfast? toast? jam and butter? chee cheong fun?" i always say ,"no thanks!" because i know the bak chor mee stall downstairs waiting for my orders of the morning. besides i dun like the normal thick thick white white chee cheong fun, i like those thin thin hot hot filled with prawns hong kong style ones…but the household don’t understand my preference, they say "same what?!" i’m so glad this world allows PERSONAL PREFERENCE!
bak chor mee is my favourite! i can have anytime of the day - breakfast lunch or dinner, hum-ba-lang also can!
favourites - food republic food court! the aunty also recognise me even thos the last time i went was when victoria was wee little baby. but of course she already knew me during her time at Bugis Food Junction. the chilli and vinegar is….I TELL YOU…NO HORSE RUN SIA!! remember when you order must say, "Aunty, la jia, cu duo duo, add $1 fishball!!" wah then the noodle come - shiok shiok sia…die i salivating now…shall go for some tomorrow.
