Tuesday w my kids

Cimg8344_copychildren never lie about their feeling. when they are hungry, they complain, when they kena bully, they complain, when someone else kena bully, they ALSO complain and when they say they like you…they really mean what they say. i have received little notes and present  saying ‘i love you teacher jasmine’, ‘next time i want to come to you camp again’…awww…my heart melt. when it come to school work is another set of story liao. some are terrible terrible, some are good good. but when i see them as a child, they are still jus a child whether their result is band1 or band25.

together with my sister, i brought my class out for a little outing to toa payoh (library, macdonald and safra playground…one of them thought we going Safari see animal hur hur hur…) when they play, they dun needa know what’s the total area of the playground is or the perimeter of the filet-o-fish box, they jus eat and play! everytime they ran pass me in a tunnel they’ll wave and ‘teacher jasmine, hi!’ or ’see me!’ when i respond back they’ll be so happy. which remind some of us how important encouraging words or action was to us when we’re in school and how torn we are when we kena ‘dog blood pour over our head’.

i just pray for the kids that one day they will be somebody that’s not just a mr-know-all or miss-clever but someone that makes a different to another person’s life…in a good way lah.

so encourage a child today!
