let me bring you to my favourite place to eat all the yummy-garlicky,lemak lemak stuff ALL UNDER ONE ROOF…ohoh and the tastiest-just-nice-teh-ice!! Qi Ji! if i read it correctly, QiJi either mean Miracle in mandarin or just Qi Ji the shop name. i prefer Miracle cuz its MIRACLE to have such yummy food there! i even had an accident in the Changi Hospital Qiji!
my dad was sent into Changi Hosptial A&E one day and i found a QiJi there, so i decided while waiting, i shall go pig out!! it was a long wait and then finally, my turn, so i start piling up my usual (as seen in the picture, yes, i can really finish them all by myself, alone!) and then balancing them on a tray and walked to an empty seat next to someone and THEN….SHHHPIANG! it all started with the teh-ice then the laksa and the popiah ALL TOPPLE ONTO THE TABLES, CHAIR AND FLOOR AND nothing splat on me! how rare ha ha ha…its quite a colouful sight too…the people are so nice they didn’t even scold me or ‘aiyah’ or ‘tsk’ me, they jus say, sit sit, we bring you the same thing!!! i want to cry with gratitute (obviously i didn’t and i was more like sniggering inside). i wrote them a comendation email (so rare also cuz usually i only THINK i wanna do it and i NEVER do it) but hor they DIDNT reply me…che…
so that’s a Qi Ji for me in Qi Ji…join me next time, but buy your own set, no sharing allowed ;p
